Kate + Klifford
We had a fabulous time working with Kate and Klifford! Their wedding was woodsy and natural and beautifully personal in every detail from the white pews for their families to the leis to the floating lanterns. The couple got married at The Barn at Highpoint Farms with a reception catered by A Silverware Affair. These lovely photos you see here were taken by Nathan M. Bivens Photography and May Flowers.
Kate and Klifford wanted a really natural feel for their wedding flowers so they went with a white and green color scheme plus a few pops of blue here and there.
Kate's forest bouquet was composed of white ranunculus, peonies, and lisianthus as well as green hydrangeas, eucalyptus, ferns and cascading ivy. We always love a bride who wants a pretty flower crown and Kate was no exception! Her crown was composed of a curly willow base with white ranunculus blooms, sprigs of wax flower and a sweet touch of blue to match her striking eyes.
Her bridesmaids' bouquets were similar with white scabiosa, peonies and hydrangeas as well as white and green lisianthus.
The couple's ceremony took place in front of a huge tree accented by wooden barrels and a long lush arrangement composed of white hydrangeas, peonies, and larkspur. Curly willow and Boston fern fronds created height and impact while hanging green amaranthus and cascading ivy added to the natural charm of the arrangement.
The reception was equally charming with loose and gardeny centerpieces full of hydrangeas, scabiosa, peonies and lisianthus accompanied by a mix of fresh greenery.
The head table was also adorned with a greenery garland to complete the fresh and natural look.
