April + Brandon
We had the pleasure of working with April and Brandon while they planned their Chattanooga destination wedding from out of town. They wanted a party that included all kinds of personal details from their love story and a "Tale of Six Cities" theme that highlighted the different cities they'd lived and adventured in. These photos were taken by the ever-fabulous Daisy Moffatt.
The color scheme for the personal flowers included white, green, blush, lavender and burgundy. April's gorgeous bouquet was composed of chocolate cosmos, white astilbe, blush garden roses, brunia berries, seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, freesia, white peonies and burgundy scabiosa.
Her bridesmaids carried scaled down versions of her bouquet that included lavender freesia, dusty miller, brunia berries, seeded eucalyptus, blush roses and white hydrangeas.
The couple completely transformed The Church on Main for an incredible ceremony with custom lighting at the altar and a collection of elegant floating candles lining the aisle.
The entrance to The Church on Main had a large hanging trough full of fabulous flowers like roses, hanging amaranthus, copper beech, cymbidium orchids, stock, allium, eryngium, privet berry, and seeded eucalyptus. This piece created a dramatic introduction to the flawlessly put together reception area.
Now for the fun part of April and Brandon's wedding -- the reception! April created six different lounge areas representing the heart and style of each city.
Atlanta had a clean, modern look that paid homage to its Coca-Cola history. Also in this image is the Nashville lounge area with a classic guitar case coffee table.
Next up, we have Memphis featuring a guitar and vintage microphone with floral accents.
Pittsburgh was decorated in Penguins, Steelers and Pirates colors to give the lounge a sports bar feel.
Savannah had antebellum charm with Spanish moss draped above a Southern-inspired chaise and a driftwood end table.
Lastly, Washington D.C. was adorned with a stately red velvet couch and elegant classic flowers.
Their cake from Sweet Angel Cakes was even decorated with themes from each of their six cities! The amazing vendors for this wedding really captured the details of April and Brandon's love story.
We had such a blast working with April and Brandon! We love to see couples creating weddings that really represent who they are.
